Jessie and the Architect

What happens when a precocious teen in a high rise public housing complex encounters Mies van Der Rohe, modernist icon, in purgatory in her kitchen? Jessie has just lost her brother to gang violence and, with her mother, moved to a hopefully safer place, but in the process she has developed agoraphobia. Can Mies overcome his self absorption and help Jessie see her own potential? In so doing is he released from purgatory? Or does Jessie find the role model of Edith Farnsworth more compelling? Or neither?
