Now you have explored a multitude of methods for quantitative analysis of lead: ISE, ASV, UV-Vis Dithizone; Calcein Blue Fluorescence Quenching; Atomic Absorption, ICP-MS. Some of these may have been “dry” labs but you were still able to compute figures of merit: Linear Range, LOD, LOQ, R2, selectivity, matrix effects, accuracy and precision, time of analysis, and, for those labs you performed, a sense of how easy or difficult it would be to instruct another user.

For other people you should include an estimate of the cost and need for specialists to run the instruments.

Gather up all of your data, cross compare, and select a method that is consistent with your needs. JUSTIFY YOUR DECISION WITH A TABLE OF FIGURES OF MERIT.
